Internet Explorer Danger


Windows web browsers beware. Because of the way that Javascript runs under IE, the Nimda worm was able to cause havoc. A new danger in the XP media platform requires a patch you can get above, before even a mouse hover can cause IE to do things it doesn't want to be doing.

Nuke it!


CMS (Content Management Systems) are a relatively new thing, but most web logs or newspaper sites use some form of "content management".

What is it exactly? It is a system that manages your content which you create on-line and store in a database. The beauty of these systems is that you can run your dynamic content site without extensive programming by adapting one of many CMS systems around.

We use PHP Nuke largely, or web logs for content managment. With PHP Nuke we store the data in our own database tables affording better control, than a weblog which is generally hosted on a public server, thus you do not own its content directly.
