XP SP2 installation
After backup of your system install XP SP2.
Be warned, if you update from the internet, it is a long process, taking over an hour even on a broadband connnection. We advise against installing using broadband where transmission costs apply.
SP2 is a MAJOR update of XP. Most of XP is replaced and therefore you need about 2GB of free disk space. We recommend keeping your NTFS disks at least half empty if possible, so free up at least 5GB of space on the installing disk.
